Mission StatementThe mission of the Goshen Elementary School Counseling Department, with the help of parents and the community, is to promote the overall intellectual, physical, emotional and social development of each child so that she/he will become a productive, healthy, creative citizen of our society.
L1G4 - Learners First Gators Forever - The counseling department wants to partner with the school to ensure the learning of every student. We put students first in all that we do. We expect students to use the Gator Motto in life now and throughout their lives. Theme: Use empathy everydayStudents are compelled to use empathy everyday. They are asked to use empathy in their academic and social/emotional development. Empathy means that they will put themselves in another person's shoes. Students are encouraged to use random acts of kindness as a tangible way to show empathy to other students in our school and other people in our community. We feel this is a vital role of a successful 21st century citizen.
